First appearances, the metal bit with the holes in it isn't as pretty and shiny as it is in the product picture: It arrived scuffed, scratched and with black marks on it. Its edges are also a little on the sharp side. But it feels very strong, and functionally, it works. As long as you have poles that fit in the holes, the metal triangle helps stabilize them together. Of course the main purpose for this is for campfires, but you could also use this for gardening wigwams for growing climbing plants on. The chain and hook feel very strong and secure; not flimsy at all. It's convenient to go camping with too since it's quite small and compact (minus the tree branches). The kit comes in a little drawstring bag to help you keep everything together so none of the bits get lost, which is thoughtful. All together the whole set works well. Strong and effective.

It seems ok for what it is but I don't like the insecure method of the pin through the chain to suspend it as it has no end section to stop it slipping out and given the pot will be being stirred potentially or moving about it just doesn't feel very safe and it would be annoying to lose the pots contents or put out fire. It seems a lot of a faff to use I doubt I will.
