I used this when camping recently for a few nights. Roasted some marshmallows and cooked some food on it. I used a disposable baking tray to cook the food, helps to keep the fire free from grease etc. it’s really portable and decent value for money, I like that it has the grill. Easy to put together. Convenient for overnight stays. The metal warped slightly after a few uses but for the price it’s good and still totally functional.

Easy to assemble / disassemble and was sturdy when assembled. Packs flat so great for camping trip with limited space. We used as log fire pit. Would be too small for a barbeque I think.

This buckled & burnt after 1st use and was really difficult to put together again, it also leaked burning embers and burnt the grass underneath. Very disappointed :(

This is so disappointingly small! The pictures on Amazon are not accurate and trying to picture the thing using the given dimensions and using a ruler can give a false idea. I received and assembled it yesterday and it's tiny. Also, the pictures made it look slightly rectangular, but it's square. Instruction mention a locking system at the base of what they call the furnace which is basically the bottom of the firepit where the 2 plates meet. I see or found no locking system. There is 1 plate that has 2 slots and the other has 2 little tongues, they go into each other leaving a gap, doesn't click in place or anything so don't get that. Also.... well yes a lot of ventilating holes to keep your fire going.... and ashes and cinders to fall onto the ground. There is no ash tray or anything and it doesn't come with a fire resistant mat to put underneath to catch hot embers and ash. It's also so law on the ground that it will singe/burn the grass if not rested on some stone slab or fireproof stove mat which will have to be bought separately at extra cost making this tiny BBQ/firepit far from value for money. in view of the tiny size, do not expect to cook a feast for 10 on the grill bit, at a stretch it will fit enough for a couple of people. And equally, not sure how much of a long lasting blaze you can expect if using it as a firepit. Apart from the tiny size and issues mentioned above, it looks well 'made'. obviously as well made as something you have to assemble yourself to use can be. The metal plates seem sturdy enough and it appears to be powder coated so only time and use will tell how this sustains heat. All together to be honest, it is cute and may well serve a purpose, but it is very small and very (dangerously) low on the ground so for the price, it's not value for money and disappointing. I hesitated between this and the larger version of one of those Firepits with the metal mesh top. One option on here comes with a fire mat for a good £10 less tham this. I thought it would be nice to have this one which doubled as BBQ, but it's so small I may yet order the Mesh firepit with the firemat and have options.

Nice thing, bought for our camping trips, the thought of trying to fit anything else bulky in the motor was terrifying, my car tetris skills have peaked.... but... these are flat and slide in nicely, pretty heavy, which is reassuring seeing you're going to be burning logs (nothing else obviously) in it and it'll get a tad warm. Fits together easily enough,there's one part that needs to go a certain way around I think, but I can't remember what it was.... This was the large one, I'd say the smaller one would be too small for me. So yeah, pretty good overall.

I purchased this to take on a car camping trip. My companion wanted to have a campfire but ground fires are prohibited at this campground. These units come in 2 sizes—we bought the larger one which accommodated Duraflame logs and commercial firewood. I was very impressed with its performance. It comes in a pouch and while it is heavy it breaks down into a flat rectangle which doesn’t take up much room. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. Frankly I expected some warpage but after 5 days of use we hosed it down with a little dish soap and all components were still perfectly flat and showed no sign of wear. It also comes with a cooking grate so you can use it as a charcoal grill if you want. I recommend this.

This fire pit is one of those things you don’t realize you needed until you use it. I took it on a weekend camping trip and it quickly became the center of everything. It sets up easily and feels really sturdy once in place. The size is just right, not too bulky to carry but big enough to hold a decent amount of wood for a good fire. What makes it stand out is the 2 in 1 design. The detachable cooking grate is perfect for grilling burgers hot dogs or even toasting marshmallows. It holds steady and gives you an even cooking surface. I liked that I could remove the grate easily when I just wanted to enjoy the fire on its own. The included carry bag is a nice bonus. It packs down fairly flat and doesn’t take up much room in the car. Everything fits snugly and it doesn’t weigh much so it’s easy to bring along for picnics or camping. I also used it in the backyard a couple of times and it works just as well for a relaxed evening outdoors. Cleanup was simple too. Once the fire cooled down I dumped out the ash and gave it a quick rinse. The materials feel durable and it looks like it will hold up well over time. If I had to mention anything it would be that the grill grate can be a little tricky to align at first but once it’s in place it stays secure. Overall this is a great value if you want a fire pit that’s portable functional and easy to use. It’s perfect for camping the backyard or anywhere you want to combine a fire and a grill.
