I've been looking at these stoves for a while now and decided shell out and buy one. I've seen a few reviews of other brand's version of the stove, and complaints regarding the size of them but I was quite pleased when I opened the box. It's small enough to be portable but large and solid enough to feel sturdy and I'd have no problem with placing a heavy pot on top. Materials feel good, with painted steel outer surfaces, similar rolled steel inside the chimney and heavy cast iron pot support on top. There were a couple of burrs inside on the joins and some of the silicone wool was poking out from under the pot support which was easily removed. Insulation material as mentioned is silicone wool around the main body and some sort of ceramic material in the base under the burn chamber. The outer surface was hot to touch in use, but not so hot that I couldn't hold my hand on it for a few seconds. Using small twigs and sticks which were admittedly not fully dry, it was very easy to start and rather quickly began producing the distinctive rocket stove whoosh sound. When fed properly, the stove got very hot and gave good tall flames with very little smoke, but with the vent door wide open it's quite hungry and requires constant feeding as with any rocket stove. All in all, it appears to be well put together works better than expected when fed properly, it got plenty hot and produced little smoke. The box provided instructions for use with both twigs and charcoal, and I expect that it would be more suitable for cooking with the latter but I'm yet to try it. The included bag is also more substantial than expected, which is a bonus.

Reasonable price. Chimney leaks a bit. Not sure I'd fire it up inside a tent...

The media could not be loaded. I bought this tent stove to use in my 6m Bell boutique Bell tent. It came with all the accessories it had been advertised with, that is the end of anything positive in this review. On assembly I discovered the door was hung at an a Odd angle but it looked like it still sealed so I moved forward with assembling the rest of it. It took me some time and a lot of effort to attach the supplied chimney the screw holes were slightly out on the first section on chimney. It finally fitted on and after inspecting the section that had the flu stop I discovered that it was poorly cut and did not fit the flu neatly to stop airflow at all. The sprung handle just spun and was not held in any position. After completing the assembly I moved onto logging the stove. It was easy to light as I have done this many times before with different stoves however, on lighting this stove it became apparent that there was something very wrong with this stove. What can only be described as toxic smoke began coming from the paint on the outside of the stove. Mixed with the smoke from the inside that also began to leak from the gaps in the stove. My 6m Bell tent quickly filled with this Toxic smoke. I extinguished the fire in the stove. The following day I decide to light the stove again but away from the tent to see if it just needed seasoning before further use inside the tent. On lighting I found that the paint began to bubble and burn off releasing yet more toxic smoke. Also the large side glass viewing panel had only been tack welded leaving gaps for the smoke to escape from. Many other joints were exactly the same leaving smoke to escape from the fire box I to the area around the stove and not directed up the flu. This is a poorly made and DANGEROUS tent stove and I will be returning it ASAP. DO NOT BUY

It's a cheap stove. This little stove has many minor issues The chimney is relatively short and flimsy. The top opening plate for cooking is not fixed in any way or sit in a fitted recess, you just have to line it up and hope. The air flow vent on the ash pan is very stiff and requires two gloved hands to operate. The main opening will not easily close because the seal cord is too thick. Again great force and two hands required to operate. After the first burn the paint disintegrated and revealed the steel. The list goes on. I regret the purchase. Edit: The door fell off completely on first use. Had to return.

Al momento non l'ho ancora utlizzata, ma la prima impressione è ottima, perche è stata ben progettata e include una custodia in tela per riporla e/o trasportarla facilmente. Aggiungerò valutazioni sul risultato appena la farò funzionare. Amazon consegna impeccabile.
