I bought this item for a recent camping trip, and on its arrival I had a quick check as I was a little off put by some reviews. Everything in this kit does as it says, but there are some things that you should consider. Plates, these are tiny. If you run a small restaurant and you need something to put a bill and a couple of mints on, these are perfect. The pans are quick for heat transference, and things are liable to burn, so low and slow is the answer. I also had the foresight to attempt a little seasoning of the frying pan, I did bacon and eggs in it and it didn't stick, so that may be of help. A lot of gripes are about the set not stacking, once you have discarded the plates that are of little use, everything fits nicely, not snuggly mind, but enough to be considered tidy. The secrect is to lay the cups and cutlery horizontally inside the kettle. Other than the small things mentioned above, the kit is light, practical and does its job. I was getting about three om portions out of the pan, frying pan fits two rashers of back bacon, I'd only try one egg if frying, and the kettle gets a couple of normal sized cups out of it for a brew. The cutlery is worth a mention too, it's functional but not very comfortable, but other than that it's worth the money.

The set itself is very ergonomic and does not take up much space. Unfortunately the kettle handle melted and even burned after the first use without coming into contact with the fire! The pot and pan were also tested and there were no problems.

This is a perfect little kit for someone going camping and wants to cook and have a cup of tea. However, take a picture of how it all fits back together... Especially if you are gonna use the packaging for kindling... oops. I'm a bit of a wild man and not an engineer so I struggle to pack it all away into the little bag. but It is a fun kit, and all of the problems are nothing to do with the product and everything to do with me... lol Enjoy your camping trip.

No matter what I tried, I cannot separate the cups, which I am knocking a star off for. These have been jammed together, I guess so they fit in the bag! The stove is small, I haven’t used it yet and I doubt I will. I’m going to buy something slightly bigger. The rest of the kit seems okay, although the kettle is a lot smaller than I thought it would be but at least it won’t take long to boil! The kit is lightweight which is a good thing as this is for an emergency bag and everything needs to be as light as possible in order to be able to carry it. I haven’t tried washing it yet, but I am sure that won’t be an issue. I can’t say anything about the sturdiness, that will be when I get round to using it. The pot lid handle is not very big and you run the risk of burning your fingertips if you’re not careful. I’m not sure about the cutlery, but as I have 2 four piece sets the ones that come in the kit will only be used as spares. Time will tell if this is a good purchase.
