This cast iron beauty arrived pre-seasoned (thank goodness) and my cat Sir Whiskers immediately claimed the box as his new judgment throne. First attempt at garden cooking nearly ended with singed eyebrows, but once I got the hang of the removable legs, it was brilliant! Made a proper breakfast fry-up that had my girlfriend properly impressed - a rare culinary win for me. The versatility between flat griddle and grill is perfect for my tiny patio space. whilst I havent yet attempted to cook anything on this yet, waiting for the summer months - The build quality is excellent, its a very heavy griddle pan which will store and evenly dissipate a lot of heat from a variety of heat sources. Especially like the stand, making it an effective cooking surface ideally suited to open camp fires.

I got this primarily for outdoor cooking in the warmer months. I especially like how I can put this right over a fire pit. The legs are not too high so the centre of gravity is relatively low adding to stability. Bonus is how it can also be use on a variety of stove top surfaces. I have a gas stove and hadn't consider using it this way but will now. Pan is a generous size without being too large (and thus heavy). Removable legs are easy to put on and off and pan is pre seasoned and easy to clean. Removable legs also helps with making for more compact, easy storage. Comes with a small manual that includes several languages about use, care (important for people not familiar with cast iron) as well as a few recipes. Legs aren't super thick and curious how will fare over long time use, hoping shorter legs (compared to other models I've seen) and the extra stability that gives will lessen stress on legs over time. It's iron so it's got weight to it but not so heavy. I have an injured shoulder and arthritis and able to carry and move about (two handed). The price of $49.99 CAN as of April 2025 is fairly reasonable as I've seen traditional cast iron skillets this size between 40-70$ and up. Would recommend.

La piastra in ghisa Novaris arriva in una scatola con il tre piedi smontato. Alla vista si capisce subito che si tratta di una piastra di qualità , molto robusta e già trattata. Io la sto utilizzando sia sui fuochi della cucina ma anche su fuoco vivo e devo dire che mantiene bene la temperatura in entrembe le modalità. Ma può essere utilizzata anche fornelli a induzione, elettrici, in ceramica (come da descrizione). Il diametro da 34cm è giusto per l'utilizzo familiare , in più il fatto che il treppiedi e la piastra sono 2 pezzi distinti è molto comodo poichè la ghisa può essere trasportata anche senza niente avendo ingombro ridotto. La cosa che però c'è da tener conto è che per tenerla sempre nel modo migliore dopo l'utilizzo bisogna essere pulita , asciugata ed oleata per evitare la formazione di rugine. In consclusione ritengo sia una buona piastra , molto versatile ed ottima per qualsiasi fiamma. Andrea

Fantástica calidad de esta plancha de hierro fundido, con muy buenos acabados y buen peso a pesar del material (es ligera para su tamaño). Mide unos 38 cm. de diámetro, viene en color negro e incluye un caballete de 3 patas. Nosotros la hemos probado tanto sobre la barbacoa como en la chimenea, con buenos resultados. Para mi gusto el handicap más grande es la manutención de este material, ya que el hierro fundido siempre hay que curarlo bien y sobre todo, limpiarlo y secarlo justo tras ser utilizado (para que no se oxide). Más allá de eso, es un material muy sano para cocinar y que si se cuida bien, dura muchos años. No tenemos queja, el calor se mantiene uniforme a lo largo de la plancha, cocinando muy bien los alimentos.
