Summary; Nice and sturdy well made little campfire grill, i used it all day and it never sagged once or got out of shape in my ownership once, I am very impressed at this pricepoint. Construction: It is made out of mild steel with a surface coating which gives it a wroght iron like feel (It isnt wrought iron), the workmanship is crude and the welds look questionable but it is sturdy and hasnt failed me and so for light duty like cooking I dont forsee a issue.

This is one of those items that is cheaply made from poor grade steel. It’s not going to last long and the spot welds are dispersed every few inches. For the price it’s ok but when I’ve put in some welds and fitted corner braces it will be much better. At the price of £17.50 for the xl it represents reasonable value for money.

I'm completely new to camping. I was worried about this being too small/ short and not being able to get it to sit right. But if you've got heat gloves or fireplace tongs etc, to move your logs and coals around you're going to have no trouble sorting it out. I will say this. The steel on top has warped a little after one cook. Not unusable but a bit disappointing and interesting to see if it holds up over multiple cooks. I kinda wanna buy another now they're on sale and put both together. 🤣 Note to self: make sure lamb chops don't catch fire whilst taking photos. One of them was extra crispy.

This is the best grill ever! I got the large size and I'm glad I did. It fits over a standard fire ring, so I was able to fit a small cast iron skillet and a kettle with room to spare. You can't cook food directly on this grill, but that's OK by me. The build seems very sturdy and durable. The large grill is kind of heavy, so not great for backpacking but excellent for car camping. One of my favorite camping purchases so far.
